An advocate of international cooperation on AI, he conceptualised and proposed a Commonwealth Partnership on AI. A speaker and writer on AI, Innovation and Governance, he regularly speaks, publishes and teaches on reputed platforms. He is also Co-Founder and Executive President of Global Policy Insights.

Uday Nagaraju

Swati is an Economist and a Development Policy expert with over 10 years of experience. She is a strategic leader and thinker with an understanding of the importance of leadership in transformational change.She was the lead analyst for evaluating social projects for Multilateral Development Banks at the Ministry of Finance, Government of India including AI driven projects. She also has several consulting experiences with the Industry Associations, TERI and other NGOs. She is a member of the Government Blockchain Association and a Nuffic Fellow on Climate Policy and Clean Energy. She is a Foresight Scholar with University of Geneva.

Elizaveta holds a BA in International Relations and War Studies from King's College London and MA in International Affairs at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. She previously worked with the UN Office in Vienna and is currently engaged in the field of security sector governance, based in Geneva. Her international background in upbringing and studies helped Elizaveta develop a passion for security and diplomacy, with specific interest in conflict prevention and mediation, with a focus on Europe and Asia.

Sreeram is an EPSRC funded PhD scholar at University of Exeter, working on cost-effective manufacturing techniques of Perovskite solar cells. Prior to that he received Commonwealth Shared Scholarship from DFID (Department for International Federation), UK, for pursuing his Masters in Renewable Energy engineering. He also holds a B-Tech degree from CUSAT in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has worked with various startups and NGOs in the clean energy sector.

Dr Sarkar is the former head Head of Data Analytics Cell and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog) premier policy think-tank of Government of India. At NITI Aayog, Dr. Sarkar helped in developing roadmaps for use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence for Governance, Policy making across various sectors for India's inclusive growth and led efforts towards setting up the first High Performance Computing based Data Analytics Lab and Energy Modeling Unit at NITI Aayog. He is currently teaching at the Indian School of Business and heading India Data Portal.

Nishtha is the Deputy Country Representative for UN Women, the entity of the United Nations that is dedicated to working towards Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, in India. She is the youngest woman to represent UN Women amongst 193 countries. In her long standing career in the United Nations, she manages the UN Women Office for a geo-politically diverse group of countries including India, Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. Previously, she has also served as the Private Sector Partnerships Specialist with the Office of the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations and UNDP.

Soenke holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Hamburg, which he received within a Doctoral Program in Artificial Intelligence. He has worked for the United Nations in the humanitarian, recovery and sustainable development fields as well as in data and information management. Currently he is a Fellow at AI Policy Labs. He has published various peer-reviewed articles about AI safety and ethics and also related to the SDGs. He is based in New Delhi.
