Swati is currently heading the programmes and partnerships at the AI Policy Labs. Prior to joining here, Swati has worked at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). She was the lead analyst for all economic and policy matters related to Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) & New Development Bank (NDB) at the Multilateral Institutions Division of Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Swati has notable experience of working on international policy issues including on finance, climate change and sustainable development. She has been instrumental in forming government views and represented at various international negotiations including the UNFCCC, Montreal Protocol and the meetings of the Board of MDBs. She is an economist by background and is also a member of the Government Blockchain Association. Swati has co-authored climate change and energy chapter at the Economic Survey of India and has published numerous articles online. She was awarded fellowship by the Netherlands Government in 2015 to pursue executive programme on climate policy and clean energy.
